Eva currently works as a liaison for researchers in the humanities, social science and journalism who want to research digital collections or co-develop research tools for digital media-collections. In the past, Eva has studied Communication & Information studies and has specialized in television and new media. Emerging media technologies and innovation processes have become her favorite objects of interest. In 2012, she finished her doctorate dissertation on the role of institutions and governments in the user adoption process of HDTV. Eva has taught various courses for students of information & computer science, communication studies and television studies. Before her current position, she has worked as a general knowledge manager at the Netherlands Institute of Sound and Vision.
Eva is a member of the television research board (TViT) and loves to participate in debates related to policies in higher education, research, media and acces to heritage.
