CLARIAH Lunchlezing: SASTA application
- do 11-03-2021 12:00 - 13:00
I will describe the SASTA application for the automatic grammatical analysis of transcripts of spontaneous Dutch language, present results that it achieves, and I will give a demo of the system.
SASTA has been developed in the SASTA project funded in part by the CLARIAH Social Impact Call. It has been derived from the CLARIAH application GrETEL, an application to query treebanks (i.e. a text corpus in which each sentence has been assigned a syntactic structure).
The application can deal with three language assessment methods commonly in use in the Netherlands: TARSP (for young children 1-4), STAP (for older children (5-10) and ASTA (aphasia patients). I will also report on initial results of an on-going project to deal automatically with deviating language that occurs in these transcripts of spoken language of young children and persons with (suspected) language disorders.
