CLARIAH Lunch lecture: 17th century newspapers
In recent years, volunteers have transcribed all seventeenth-century newspapers from Delpher, resulting in a corpus of 20 million words. A follow-up project is currently being set up.
What lessons have we learned, and to what extent can we use new technical possibilities in the follow-up project? And what are the research possibilities offered by these newspapers?
