Data-Doe-Dag

Are you active in a collection management organization? Are you involved in registration, management, access, use or presentation of collection data and images? Then come to the first Data-Doe-Dag in Den Bosch on April 17.

How do you make sure your metadata are in order? How do you make heritage information visible to as many people as possible? How do you connect your digital collection with other knowledge sources? How do you work with the Terminology Network in your system? How do you clean up your data? How do you prevent the infamous 404 message? How do you use crowdsourcing? How... During the Data-Doe-Day, colleagues from heritage organizations will explain the issues in practical work sessions and you can contact the data-cleaning team. So bring your data and your laptop.

For whom

This free day is intended for anyone working with collection data in a museum, archive, society, library, historical association or any other organization with a heritage collection.

Program

The substantive program runs from 10:30 - 16:30, including lunch. There are 12 different workshops in 3 rounds; you can choose on the spot which 3 workshops you will participate in. Or visit the data-clean team who will be there for you all day. The day is all about 'doing', but of course there is plenty of opportunity to expand your network and share knowledge with heritage colleagues.

View the preliminary program and register via the Network Digital Heritage website.
